At The Felt Store, we take great joy in collaborating with exceptional felt and wool artists and makers. These creative minds take pride in connecting and crafting with others in the community while generously sharing their expertise through unique felt DIY tutorials. Our Felt Ambassadors are truly passionate about their craft and are driven to inspire others with their remarkable felt creations and the processes behind them.

Annika Miller

Annika Miller is a Finnish-born designer who has infused her Nordic roots into the vibrant culture of Louisiana for over two decades. As a Professor of Design, she blends international influences with local traditions in her work.

Specializing in using natural materials such as felt, wood, and leather, Annika creates designs that resonate with warmth and authenticity.

"With an insatiable curiosity, I continually seek new perspectives and approaches, constantly exploring innovative ways to re-imagine the ordinary and transform it into the extraordinary."

Felicia Davenport

Felicia is a dedicated mother of two, balancing her full-time professional career and entrepreneurial endeavors with her passion for crafting. With a background in public health and a focus on the connection between spirituality and health, she brings a unique perspective to her creative work.

Specializing in felt food crafting, Felicia has transformed her passion into a growing business over the past three years.

Hannah Garnier

Meet Hannah Garnier, a dedicated felt artisan who began her crafting journey in 2011. She started her business, Homemade Heartfelt, as a newlywed while her husband was deployed by the US Coast Guard. Hannah and her husband now reside in the Chicago suburbs with their three Havanese pups.

Specializing in felt quiet books, toys for children, banners, flowers, and keychains, Homemade Heartfelt offers a wide range of handcrafted items.

"I teach art at private schools part-time, but I spend most of my time in my craft room creating away with felt! I’m so excited to begin partnering with The Felt Store as one of their US felt ambassadors!"

Jill Bentham

Meet Jill, the creative force behind The Felted Fawn. Her felting journey began in 2014 when she discovered a passion for crafting felt flowers. Over time, her experimentation expanded to various felt crafts, delighting her family and friends with her creations.

Initially focusing on felt pennants, she has since flourished creating a diverse array of handmade items such as garlands, mobiles, pin cushions, and flameless candle holders.

"I truly adore working with felt and The Felt Store has made it even more enjoyable for me - allowing me to easily find beautiful and high-quality vegan felt which aligns with my core values and business objectives."

Laura Zeo

Felt Like A Party is led by Laura Zeo, a passionate felt artist since 2019. Inspired by a Bucilla Christmas stocking made by her grandmother, Laura began crafting felt pieces for her growing family and soon expanded her repertoire to include baby mobiles, bead and sequin work, needle felting, and embroidery. 

Specializing in intricate bead and sequin designs, needle felting, and embroidery, Felt Like A Party offers unique and personalized felt creations. 

"I love wool, and of course the artist community. I have my real-life friends, and my niche Instagram friends. I tell my husband stories of what everyone is up to regardless of if I’ve ever really met them or not!”

Lorrie Everitt

Make & Merry Co. is led by Lorrie Everitt, a passionate Creative Director & Graphic Artist during the day and a devoted DIY & Craft Enthusiast in her spare time. Lorrie finds joy in working with various mediums, drawing inspiration from both traditional and contemporary crafting techniques and equipment.

As an advocate for environmental consciousness, she utilizes felt in her DIY home décor projects due to its natural qualities, pleasing texture, and ease of use.

"I think that Makers need to be more aware about the materials that we are using and how our choices will affect the environment and our planet. It’s not just about reusing and re-purposing materials, it’s also about taking into consideration how and where our supplies are produced and so much more."

Applications NOW OPEN in Canada & the USA

Potential candidates are passionate about their craft, love connecting with their crafting communities and have a solid understanding of social media in all of its forms. They create unique and interesting projects and DIY tutorials showcased with professional looking photography and love sharing their process! Felt Ambassadors will work with our Marketing and Social Media team on a 1-year contract to produce 4- unique physical craft projects and online content throughout the year – including blog posts and tutorials. In return, The Felt Store will provide material funding for the projects in the form of gift cards to be used online at thefeltstore.ca, as well as provide a platform for the Felt Ambassador to feature their work and continue to reach new audiences across North America! Selected applicants can expect to hear back from us within 1-2 weeks of submission.
